Bespoke Furniture

My fascination with woodworking started at a very early age.  At my grandfather’s side at a work bench, I could barely reach. This in a tiny shop with no electricity, lit by only daylight from a single window, but outfitted with razor sharp hand tools.

The skills I acquired there served me well when I worked as a cabinet maker creating built in place cabinetry for high end custom homes. Those summers and off semesters went a long way to paying for college. 

Recently with my higher-pressure executive career behind me I have returned to working with my hands in a medium I am so familiar with.  Now living close to Appalachia, the availability of local domestic hardwoods when accented with imported exotic hardwood offers maximum flexibility for creating wooden art.
